The Vision
House is a modern residence designed to dissolve the boundary between architecture and landscape. Living spaces extend naturally into gardens, courtyards, terraces, and shaded outdoor rooms, creating a home that breathes with its environment.
This is not simply a house with large windows.
This is a residence where movement, sightlines, climate, and lifestyle flow uninterrupted between inside and outside.

The Site
Description
Rather than treating the landscape as something viewed through a window, the architecture incorporates it into the experience of the home. Trees, water, gardens, and changing natural light become part of the composition, creating flexible living environments that can expand outward or become more intimate with the seasons.
The result is a home where architecture and landscape are conceived as one continuous environment open, adaptable, and deeply connected to its setting.
Architecture becomes most powerful when the boundaries between inside and outside begin to disappear. This residence is designed around that relationship, using continuous floor planes, expansive openings, and extended material palettes to allow interior spaces to flow naturally into terraces, courtyards, and gardens.
Long sightlines frame the surrounding landscape from within the home, while covered outdoor rooms create comfortable extensions of the living spaces throughout the year. Orientation, deep overhangs, natural shading, and cross-ventilation respond directly to the climate, balancing openness with protection from the Texas sun
